Principal Physiotherapist and Director

Jonathon is the Principal Physiotherapist and Director of Matrix Phillip. He has been involved with a multitude of sports, primarily collision based including rugby union across all levels and currently as the head physio for the CBR Brave Ice Hockey. In his professional life, he’s worked in emergency departments, trauma rehab, and orthopaedics. Jono looks after our mountain-biking clients because, as a previous competitive rider himself, he understands what the sport demands.

Physiotherapist

Callam is a Canberra local that grew up playing rugby union and football. His love for sport has seen him continue to be involved in these areas with experience working within community and state level AFL, rugby union, football and netball. He has also been involved with the Canberra Raiders in his previous role. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time riding his mountain bike, training in the gym, and hiking with friends. As a physiotherapist, he prides himself on considering the personal needs and goals of each individual – with the aim of optimising their health and overall wellbeing.

Jayden is passionate about helping people to return to an active, pain-free lifestyle. He enjoys working across a range of sporting and musculoskeletal injuries. Jayden has previously worked as the head physiotherapist for the Tuggeranong Vikings Rugby Union, with the ACT Brumbies and the men’s and women’s NPL soccer. Outside of work, Jayden enjoys staying active himself through basketball and the gym. Where he can he loves to get down the coast or back home to the sunny town of Port Macquarie.

Nicky has lived and breathed netball her whole life as a player, coach and umpire. Her background in netball enables her to translate sport specific knowledge in to her rehabilitation of netball athletes across all ages and levels. Her drive as a physiotherapist is to help people from all walks of life and sporting involvement to achieve their goals and live a pain-free active lifestyle. Outside of work she likes to keep active through netball, hitting the gym and running. In winter (when not on the netball court) you will find her carving it up on the slopes in the Snowy Mountains.

Chris is our resident country boy. Hailing from a small town down south and now living in the ‘big smoke’ of Canberra his approach to physiotherapy is entwined with the values of community and connection. This enables him to work closely with his patients across a wide range of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries.

He is passionate about utilising the latest evidence based practice along with a hands-on approach to rehabilitation. Chris has experience working in both the elite and amateur sports environment including working with Tuggeranong Vikings Rugby Union, Gungahlin United NPL and the ACT Brumbies Senior Academy.

Outside of physio life, you will find him splitting time between hitting the gym, shooting some hoops with friends and hanging out with the family.
